leave는 컨텍스트에 따라 '(어딘가를) 나서다'라는 의미도 된다.  그래서 명사로 쓰면 '휴가'의 의미로도 자주 쓰여.

INT, SACHA'S GRNDMOTHER'S HOUSE, DINNING ROOM - NIGHT

Sacha, her grandmother and her husband Hansi are sitting at the table after dinner. It's a simple and cozy dinning room.

NANA: The bus's picking us up in the church parking lot at nine o'clock. 
bus가 picking us up을 할거야 church parking lot에서 nine o'clock에. 
The bus's picking us up - 이 부분은 빠르게 연음이 되기 때문에 pick us up이 머릿 속에 없으면 잘 안들려.
parking lot: 주차장.

We have forty people going.
우리는 40명이 가.
We have forty people going. 이게 영어식 표현방법이야. 먼저 대상을 말하고 뒤에 설명을 붙이는 식이지. 왜냐하면 We have going forty people은 말이 안되거나 다른 의미가 되니까. We have forty people and they're going. 이라고 하는 거랑 같아.

SACHA: (to Nana) And is Father Dominic going?
Father Dominic도 가?

NANA: No, he says he's unlucky. 
아니, 그는 말해 그가 unucky라고. 

But luck has nothing to do with it.
하지만 luck은 있지 않아 할게 그것과.
have nothing to do with: 전혀 관계가 없어. nothing 대신에 something, have something = don't have anything 도 연습해봐.

SACHA: (to Hansi) You know, last time Nana won a hundred sixty dollars.
(Hansi에게) 있잖아, 지난번 Nana 땄어 160 달러.
won: win의 과거형. 복권에 당첨돼다, 경기에 승리하다 등에 엄청 자주 쓰는 표현이다. 참고로 복권에 맞다는 win a lottery, 우승하다는 win a final.

HANSI: Wow.

Hansi and Sacha wash dishes. They talk quietly.

HANSI: You gonna tell her?
너 말할거야 그녀한테?

SACHA: We don't even know the story.
우리 story조차도 몰라.
don't even know: don't know의 강조형 확장판. 이것도 한단어 처럼 연습해. 안그러면 실전에서 입에서 안나옴.

HANSI: Well, "Globe sues the church"? It's gonna be a story.
글쎄, Globe가 sue를 해 church를? 그거 될거야 story.
/suː/ 사람 Sue랑 같은 발음. to take legal action against a person or organisation, espeically by making legal claim. 소송거는 거야. sue the church: 한단어처럼 연습하자.
