JIM: Hey, here he is. Want a beer?

JIM: (to bartender) Another.

You here with Barbara?

같은 말도 다른 상황에서는 다른 의미로 쓰이는 것 처럼, 계산할 때 점원이 "Are you with ABC bank?" 라고 물어본다면 "ABC 은행 고객이냐?"는 의미가 된다.

ROBBY: No. She hates these things.
아니. 그녀는 싫어해 이런 것들.

JIM: Karen too. Smart ladies.
Karen도. 똑똑한 여자들.

ROBBY: Slainte.
건배.
Slainte /ˈslɑːntʃə/ used to express friendly feelings towards one's companions before drinking.
건배는 보통 cheers라고 해. Slainte는 아이랜드의 버전의 cheers래.

JIM: Slainte.

Robby and Jim both take a sip of beer.

I met your new editor.

Seemed like a decent fellow.

ROBBY: I think he is.

Hey, I had an interesting conversation with Eric MacLeish the other day.

Turns out he's been settling abuse cases with Archdicese for years.

JIM: You um... really want to talk about this here?

ROBBY: Jim, you said you helped out on Father Barrett as a favour.

as a favour 호의로... Can you do me a favour? 하면 "호의로 뭐 하나 해줄 수 있어요?"의 의미이다.

That was a one off?
그거 한번 도와준거야?
a one off 한번. 일시적인거. 예를 들어, one off payment  하면 한번만 내고 더 안내는 돈을 의미한다.

Jim frowns and clears throat. Robby pushes on.

ROBBY: How many of these cases have you been involved with?
얼마나 많은 이 사건들에 관여해 왔어?
have you been involved with 관여해왔어...

JIM: You know I can't answer that. Robby, it's unethical.

ROBBY: Is that all it is?
그게 전부야?
it that all it is? = is that all 은 상점에서 무언가를 사거나 주문하면 종업원이 "더 필요한 거 없으세요?"라고 할 때 손님한테 자주 쓰는 표현이야? 그게 전부야 라고 하고 싶으면 "That's all" 하면 돼.

JIM: This would be the Robby Robinson I've always heard about but never met.
이건 일거야 Robby Robinson 내가 항상 들어왔던 하지만 만난 적은 없던.

ROBBY: Listen to me, Jimmy. You want to be on the right side of this?

JIM: This is the Church you're talking about, Robby.
