8-3 INT. HOLIDAY INN, HOTEL ROOM, MIAMI, FL - LATER

Kaboomba 2019. 1. 29. 04:42

A crappy hotel room. A suitcase, clothes, paprers everywhere. Mike taks a burrito out of hotel microwave, tries to pick it up when his phone rings. He grabs the phone.

MIKE: Hey?

ROBBY: How's the South Beach?

MIKE: Boynton Beach.
Boynton Beach 인데.

Remarkably different place.
remarkably/rɪˈmɑː.kə.bli/ Someone or something that is remarkable is unusual or speical in a way that makes people notice them and be surprised or impressed.

What's up?

ROBBY: Mitch Garabedian called me today.
Mitch Garadebedian

MIKE: Why did he call you?

ROBBY: 'Cause he knew you'd yell at him.
'cause = because.
you'd yell at him = you would yell at him yell/jel/ at someone: If you yell, you shout loudly, usually because you are excited, angry or in pain.

He refiled the docs.
refile the docs

MIKE: What? Robby those docs are public now.

We gotta get there before anyone else does.
gotta get there 도착해야 해...
anyone else 다른 누군가
before anyone else does 다른 누군가가 하기 전에...

Robby is on the phone with Mike.

ROBBY: I know. I know.

Just wrap up whatever you're doing and get the first flight out.
wrap up: If you wrap wrap something such as a job or agreement, you complete it in a satisfaction way.
whatever you're doing
get the first flight out

MIKE: I will book a flight now and go stright to the courthouse tomorrow.
go straight 바로 가...

ROBBY: All right. Call me when you get in.
call me  전화 해...
get in 도착 해...

MIKE: Okay.

Robby hangs up, Sacha is in his door, putting on her coat.

SACHA: Robby, I'd like to let Phil Saviano know that we're back on it.
Robby, Phil Saviano
I'd like to = I would like to
let someone know 누군가에 알려 줘... = inform someone back on it = get back to work on it
I'd like to let
back on it 재개해...

ROBBY: Good idea. Go have a dinner with Hanji.
go have a dinner = go and have a dinner. 두개의 동사 중간에 and를 생략해서 쓰는 영어식 표현방법이다. go get it.

Might be the last time for a while.
might be the last time for a while = for a short time. eg. The baby was quiet for a while. 영어로 '당분 간은 ~하기 힘들다'를 표현할 때 'might be the last time'이 핵심 의미단위야.

SACHA: Uh-huh.

Sacha hesitates and grabs a clip off her desk.

SACHA: Robby, after we saw MacLeish, I started going back through the clips.
Robby, MacLeish
started going back 다시 해...
go through the clips

And I had a little time last week finally.

So...uh... I found that.

It's from '93.

Robby reads the clips saying " Lawyer for Porter victims says 20 other priests" and his face changes.

Robby: That it?

Sacha: Yeah, Yeah, that's it.

Robby: Good night.

Sacha: Okay. Good night.
