Kaboomba 2019. 1. 17. 19:28

Catholic Charaties Gala is holding at a large ballroom. Kim, a party asistant, scans the guest list for Marty. Marty stands before her restlessly.

KIM: I am sorry. What was the name again?

MARTY: Baron. B-A-R-O-N.

KIM: (looking through the list) I am having trouble finding it. Just give me a second.
give me a second = give me a sec. a sec 말고 원하는 시간을 붙이면 돼. two seconds. one minute. a couple of minutes.

PETE: It's okay Kim. I can vouch for him.
vouch for him 보장해. 책임져. vouch /vaʊtʃ/ to be able from your knowledge or experience. voucher의 동사형태야.

Pete Conley, 60s, Irish wealth and power extends his hand.

PETE: I am Pete Conley. I am on the board of Catholic Charities. Welcome to Boston, Mr. Baron.
Mr. Baron.

MARTY: Thank you.

PETE: I appreciate you joining us. We're very proud of the work we do here at Boston.

Oh, the Cardinal said you had a nice visit.

Marty walks toward the party. It's very crowded but he looks alone.

ROBBY: Enjoying yourself?

to be honest: 솔직히 말해. frankly speaking, honestly speaking.
strong suit: a particular skill or ability that a person has.

ROBBY: Yeah.

MARTY: Are you involved with the charity?

ROBBY: Not directly. No. Some of my friends are.

We all went to high school, BC high.
영어에서는 같은 학교출신 동문이라고 할 때 'went to the same school'이라고 풀어서 말해.
BC high = BC high school.

That's the school across the street from the Globe.
across the street

MARTY: It's hard to miss.

ROBBY: Hard to get away from, too, apparently.
get away 도망쳐...

Marty chuckes, Robby looks around and finds the Cardinal.

The Cardinal is in the corner, if your're so inclined.

ROBBY: Really? Did he mention the suit?

Marty: No, but he did give me a copy of Catechism.
a copy of Cathechism
Cathechism /ˈkæt.ə.kɪ.zəm/

ROBBY: (laughs hard) Yeah, well, the Cardinal's not known for his subtelty.
